Parks & Open Space
Planning is underway for four projects that will create beautiful public spaces for Downtown’s residents, workers, students and visitors.
Streetscape
Streets are the face of any neighborhood. They often form visitors' first perceptions of a neighborhood, make up the majority of public space, and are the means by which pedestrians go to work, shop and return home. To improve the pedestrian experience, and beautify the area’s main thoroughfares, the City has committed $40 million to upgrade several crucial streetscapes.
Transportation
From subway station renovations to commuter rail improvements, over $300 million in transit-related investments are planned for Downtown and the creation of a massive transportation hub.
