Getting Around

Certainly one of Downtown Brooklyn's greatest assets is its transportation network. Just minutes from Lower Manhattan, Downtown Brooklyn is served by 13 subway lines, 15 bus lines and the Long Island Railroad.

Every year more than 30 million passengers pass through the Atlantic Terminal Station alone. Flanked by the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges and close to the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel, the area has convenient access to the Brooklyn/Queens Expressway and the FDR Drive. Downtown Brooklyn is also a short drive from LaGuardia and JFK Airports.
